There comes the point in your career when it is clear that it is time for you to move on. Certain signs constantly point you towards a career change. Sometimes this can be hard to digest or accept, partly because the thought of starting over and reproving yourself at a new company, with new people, just seems so overwhelming. In all honesty, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Unless your current organization is filled with toxicity, grab a pen and paper and ask yourself these 6 questions before you do anything:
What isn’t working for me in my career right now?
Will my new career address these concerns?
What is working in my current position?
Do I have the right skills, passion, and experience for my new career?
Can tweaking things around in my current job change things?
What vision do I have for my life?
